HOBB - A story of love, A story of how to gain spirituality.
Sohbat or Companionship is the best deed (amol). Although we have heard this many times, it is not proved in our deeds. To explain the superiority of companionship, ‘Ashafe Kahaf’ and the height of the Companions of the Prophet (PBUH) are described. Even then, people do not understand how companionship can be the best deed. The Imam of Naqshbndiya-Mujaddidiya Tariqa, ‘Hazrat Imam Rabbani Mujaddid Alfsani Sheikh Ahmad Farooqi Sirhindi (R.)’, whom all the next generation of Tariqa follow as Imam, also could not go for Hajj to emphasise the importance of companionship. Because of his understanding of the importance of this companionship, he became a Mujaddid for a thousand years. That is why Imam Abu Hanifa (R.) said if two years of the companionship of Imam Zafar Sadeq (R.) is removed from my life, I will be ruined. But this companionship means being in the company of a genuine spiritual teacher (Awliya, Pir Mashayakh) with etiquette and love in their hearts. There will only be room for love in the heart. All other things like influence, prestige, home, security, one’s own various aspirations and if one fills their heart (Qalb) with these, and if one goes to the company of a spiritual teacher to achieve these worldly things, then the place of heart for love will decrease. In that case, one will not gain the full benefit of companionship. This book is about the story of the companionship of an authentic spiritual teacher and a student in his company, keeping in view the subject of such companionship. Hopefully, everyone in general and the Mujaddidiya sect Sheikhs of the next generation and their followers will benefit.
